Wie ich hier ja schon erwähnte, war ich am Wochenende bei meiner Tante, um mal klassisches Origami auszuprobieren. Ich hatte bisher hin und wieder mal etwas gefaltet und dabei den Eindruck gewonnen, dass das ja so schwer nicht sei. Tja, so kann man sich täuschen.

I visited my aunt last weekend and we tried to do some origami folding. I had made some attempts before and thought it wasn’t too difficult. Silly me.

Es war nämlich ganz schon knifflig mitunter, die Abbildungen und Anweisungen in den Origamibüchern richtig zu interpretieren, und wir beide weibliche Wesen mit unserem bescheidenen räumlichen Vorstellungsvermögen haben uns da besonders schwer getan. Ich hatte hinterher Kopfschmerzen und einen gehörigen Knoten im Gehirn.

At times it was really hard to properly interpret the drawings and directions in the books, especially since we were both female creatures with a rather limited spatial sense. My head ached afterwards and I had a huge knot in my brain.
