Vor ein paar Wochen ist ein langjähriger (!) Wunsch von mir in Erfüllung gegangen – ok, sagen wir besser, ich habe ihn mir selbst erfüllt:

A few weeks ago a wish of mine, that I’d had for many, many years, finally came true:

Ja, ich habe jetzt endlich auch ein iPhone. Ich bin gewissermaßen dem Blogger-Gruppenzwang und dem bösen, bösen Apple-Hype erlegen. Und ich LIEBE es. Es ist so schön, und fühlt sich richtig edel und hochwertig an, und ich find’s total genial, was man alles damit machen kann. Ich hab die Anschaffung wirklich noch keine Sekunde bereut (bevor ihr fragt: Ich hab es mit Vertrag gekauft, also war’s nicht so arg teuer). Ich hab überall alle meine Listen parat, und kann immer gucken, wie ich mit dem Bus am besten von A nach B komme, und habe meine Einnahmen und Ausgaben immer im Blick, und brauche keine extra iPod mehr zum Musikhören mitzunehmen, und überhaupt gibt es so furchtbar viele süße Hüllen dafür…

Yes, I now own an iPhone. I know, just like probably 90% of all bloggers and internet people in the entire world. I know it’s not very original, and I know they’re overpriced and hyped, but I just couldn’t resist. And I freaking LOVE it. It’s so beautiful, and it feels so nice and high-classy (is that a word?), and I’m constantly amazed by all the wondrous things I can do with it. Really, I don’t regret buying it one bit (before you ask: I bought it in combination with a contract, so I didn’t pay too much for it). I love that I have all my lists at hand everywhere I go, and I can always check which bus to take from A to B, and I can keep an eye on my finances, and I don’t need an extra iPod for listening to music anymore, and there are so many cute cases available for it…

Außerdem benutze ich es fürs Journaling (mehr davon in einem der nächsten Posts) und natürlich zum Fotos machen, was mich zu meinem zweiten Punkt heute bringt (was für eine elegante Überleitung, hust), nämlich Instagram. Vielleicht habt ihr in der Sidebar schon das neue Widget entdeckt? Ich bin erst seit kurzer Zeit dabei, aber bin der ganzen Sache jetzt schon restlos verfallen. Und natürlich tät ich mich ganz doll freuen, wenn ihr mal bei mir vorbeischaut. Hier geht’s lang!

I also use it for my journaling (more on that in a future post), and of course for snapping pictures, which brings me to my second topic: Instagram. You might have noticed the new Instagram widget in the sidebar? I’ve only been on Instagram for a short amount of time, but I’m already heavily in love with it. And of course it would be super-duper-awesome if you could take a quick peek at my photos? They’re all right here!
